Day Three in Japan: Harajuku, Where Tradition Meets Trend ๐
Harajuku is a truly magical place. On the west side, you have the majestic Meiji Shrine, a place of solemn worship. ๐๐ข On the east side, Omotesando is the cutting-edge of Japanese fashion. ๐๐ธThe combination of these two extremes means that even on the hottest days, tourists flock here to explore, and of course, I'm one of them. ๐ฟ Whether I was taking my university entrance exams in 2018 or job hunting in 2020, I always made a point to visit Meiji Shrine. ๐๐ข As one of Tokyo's largest green spaces, the area is shaded by towering trees, making it a few degrees cooler than the outside. When I bought water at the entrance, I deliberately asked the cashier to give me change in the symbolic five-yen coin, which represents good fortune. ๐๐ธ It's like starting the day on a positive note! ๐ฟ #DayThree #Harajuku
