Day Trip from Munich to Passau: Where Three Rivers Meet 🌊🚂
🔹 Took the RE3 train from Munich to Passau (~2.5 hrs)—a bit far for a day trip, but totally worth it! 😍 This charming town is so beautiful that one day isn’t enough to explore everything. 🔹 Highlights: Veste Oberhaus 🏰 – A massive fortress with fascinating history and stunning views of the Danube, Inn, and Ilz rivers merging. Unexpected workout 💦 – Despite suffering from a terrible toothache all week (😖 Monday-Wednesday were agony!), the hike up and down the hill made me sweat so much that… my pain magically disappeared! 🎉 (Best natural detox ever?!) Adventure mode ON 🚶♀️ – Somehow, I (a self-proclaimed hiking noob) ended up taking a wild off-trail path down the mountain… alone. Only realized at the bottom: "Wait… why didn’t I just take the stairs?!" 😂 (Guess I was feeling brave today!) 🔹 Passau is absolutely gorgeous—there’s even a colorful alley perfect for photos! 📸 Next time, I’m wearing a Hanfu (traditional Chinese dress) here! 👘 🔹 Rushed back to Munich but made it just in time for the 17:19 train. Ended the day with spicy beef noodle soup & seaweed salad near the main station—PERFECTION! 🍜🌶️ #DayTrip #TravelDiaries #GermanyTravel #Passau #MunichDayTrips #HikingAdventures #ToothacheWarrior #ScenicViews #ThreeRivers #Wanderlust #SoloTravel #OffTheBeatenPath #HanfuGoals
