Day Trip from Paris: Springtime in Rambouillet

🌳 **Lakes, Lawns, Forests, Castles, Shell Houses, and Little Animals** 🗺️ **Navigate directly to Rambouillet on Google Maps**. You can get there by Line N or TER. Since it’s within Zone 5, you can use a Navigo student card or weekly pass. TER runs every two hours, so plan your trip accordingly. ⏰ Upon arrival, navigate to **Château de Rambouillet**. It’s about a 15-minute walk through a charming town to reach the forest where the castle is located. 🏰 🌊 **Lake:** Perfect for a picnic! 🥪 🏯 **Castle:** Free admission for students under 25. 🎓 🐚 **Shell House:** The interior is decorated entirely with real shells—conches, scallops, oysters, mussels, clams, and more. The house is quite small and can be explored in under ten minutes. 🐚 ⚠️ **From the castle to the Shell House, it’s a 22-minute walk**. If you have time, you can also rent a bicycle or an electric golf cart (requires a driver’s license). Near the Shell House, there’s also a Queen’s Cheese House, but I didn’t have enough time to visit. 🧀 #SpringOpening #Paris #ParisTravel #DayTripsFromParis #ParisianVillages
