Day Trip from Paris | Half-Day Visit to Fontainebleau🦢

The weather in Paris these days has been incredible! Taking advantage of the perfect sunshine, I went on a little excursion to Fontainebleau with friends, soaked up the sun, and gave myself a little recharge😎. Route🚂: Depart from Paris Gare de Lyon, take the R line (most likely from platform J) to Fontainebleau - Avon station. After getting off, transfer to bus 3401 and get off at Château station. It's a 5-minute walk to the Palace of Fontainebleau. Palace visit tickets🎫: Full price is 14€, free for EU residents under 25🆓. Garden and courtyard visits are free🆓. For more information, check the official website🔍. The Palace of Fontainebleau was once a royal residence for many kings👑. It has witnessed countless glorious moments, and the interior of the palace🏰 is quite luxurious. We arrived around 10:30 in the morning and explored leisurely for about an hour and a half⌛️. The spacious palace interior is designed with a single route for visits, which is very smooth. You don't have to worry about getting lost even without looking at the guide map, and you won't walk against the crowd or cross paths with others. There are also Chinese guides everywhere, so it's quite comfortable to wander around😌. After visiting the palace, we went to a sushi restaurant just a 2-minute walk away for a nice lunch🍱. When ordering, we used a fantastic little app✨. Finally, I don't have to struggle through French menus or fumble with translation apps anymore🥹! It can translate menus, mark nutritional information, and automatically convert exchange rates! Before, I had to take photos to translate menus and get a calculator for exchange rates... Now it's all done in one place😍! After lunch, we continued walking in the garden outside the Palace of Fontainebleau. In spring, Fontainebleau is shaded by green trees, with lush flowers and plants. There's also a lake where you can rent boats to row🚣. We even encountered many cute little animals🦆🦢 playing on the water. It was so pleasant😌! #Paris #Fontainebleau #Napoleon #MyStudyAbroadLife #EssentialAppsForStudentsAbroad #TravelGuide #TranslationApp #GreatHolidayDestination #MayDayLiveUpdates #MayDayHoliday #StudyAbroadPlog
