Delicious Home-Cooked Cuisine in Paris | Highly Recommended! 🍽️
This recommendation is dedicated to the Corsican Island that I've always longed to visit. The grandmother who greets you at the front is warm and full of character, making you feel like you're at your grandparents' house, where happiness comes from filling yourself with endless amounts of food. ⭐ The interior decoration is cozy, with red and white checkered tablecloths and cured ham with melon that makes you wonder if you're in an Italian restaurant. However, Corsica is indeed very close to the Liguria region and Sardinia, and on a clear day, you can see the island of Corsica from Sanremo. Historically, Corsica was once part of Italy before unification. ⭐️ When ordering, the grandmother places a small blackboard with the menu written on it in front of you for your reference or to give recommendations. ⭐️ Main Course: Smoked, slightly charred ribs served with homemade fries and fresh tomatoes. When served, the thyme is still burning. These ribs may not be the type with a lot of sauce, but the skin is crispy, the meat is tender, and it's easy to take off the bone. Delicious! Seeing me struggle with the knife and fork, the grandmother said I could just pick it up with my hands and gnaw on it! I didn't, I still have a bit of an image to maintain. ⭐️ Another main course is a tomato-based stew of soybeans with bacon and sausage, which tastes like simple home cooking. Italians would eat two small baskets of bread with the sauce. My stomach, however, confirms that the ribs I ordered were better. ⭐️ Dessert: Tangerine sorbet, with 3 scoops! Refreshingly cold, great value, and loved it! A variety of sheep's milk cheeses and green grapes, which are abundant in Corsica. I'm afraid I can't enjoy this blessing; please take the smelly cheese away. But the portion is really generous, especially after the dessert course, who would have thought there would still be such a large plate? Final Price: 35.5€ (Appetizer + Main Course, or Main Course + Dessert) 39.5€ (Appetizer + Main Course + Dessert) #ParisFood #Paris #ParisLife #HiddenGemRestaurants #MichelinRestaurantExploration #RestaurantVisit
