Denver | One-Michelin-Starred Beckon Has Improved So Much!

This time, we booked the Salon seating—and it was so much better! 🎉 On my previous visit, the Chef’s Counter was way too loud…everyone seemed to have a louder voice than me, and I ended the meal with a sore throat from trying to be heard 😅. The Salon, in comparison, is much quieter and more relaxed. Last time, I felt the food was good but not particularly memorable—though the drinks were excellent. 🍷 But this time, both the flavors and presentation had clearly leveled up! 🍽️✨ It’s now definitely among the top tier of one-star restaurants in my book. We even added an alcohol-free pairing on the spot (around $80 for six drinks)—a tad sweet, but interesting! And yes, the wine is still outstanding! 🥂 The first pour was a 2007 Malvasia del Lazio with notes of caramelized apple and roasted peach—absolutely enchanting, especially since I’d never even heard of this grape variety before! 😍 💰 Prices are shown in the last photo.
