Denver • Play • The Most Beautiful Outdoor Amphitheater in the U.S.
🌟My first glimpse of Red Rocks was through my Bestie’s Instagram story, and it was love at first sight. This time, visiting Denver, I couldn’t miss it. 🌟Just a twenty-minute drive from the city, not too far. As the overpasses fade away, the rolling mountains begin to take shape. More rocks show their reddish hue, and the view opens up. The valley of Red Rocks Park is just around the corner. 🌟I casually bought a top-tier ticket for the evening’s concert. You can drive straight up to the mountain parking without having to stop on the side of the road. Next to the parking lot is the vast valley view that stretches as far as the eye can see, bathed in a gentle golden hue under the setting sun. 🌟It’s wonderful. Nature, music, sunset, all blending together. In the vast desert, large red rocks stand tall, hiding a semi-circular outdoor amphitheater that can accommodate thousands. The stage is no longer just the one bathed in lights; the stage is also the mountains and wilderness in the background. 🌟After nightfall, the stars in the sky and the city lights that twinkle on the horizon, I can’t think of a more romantic and beautiful place to watch a concert. This must be the most unforgettable view in Denver. 🌟There are performances every night recently. The top-tier tickets are only about thirty bucks. It can’t get any more cost-effective. It’s first-come, first-served for seating at the top, so you’ll need to arrive early to secure a spot. 🌟The whole venue is super complete with food and drinks for sale. The BBQ sandwich is pretty tasty. And remember to wear comfortable shoes; there’s a bit of a hike from the parking lot at the base of the mountain to the amphitheater. #denver #denvertravel #Denver #DenverRedRocks #DenverRedRocksAmphitheater #DenverTourism #DenverSurroundings #USADenver
