Denver 5-Day Itinerary ποΈ Car-Free Edition (Part 1)
βοΈ Day 1 Arrived in Denver at midnight - even late at night, taxis at the airport were easy to find. Chose to stay near Union Station for maximum convenience. π³ Day 2 Breakfast @ Snooze, an A.M. Eatery Must-tries: OMG French Toast, Pineapple Upside-Down Pancake, Crab Cake Benedicts The French toast was a bit sweet for me, but the pineapple pancake (not too sweet with perfect moisture) was the winner! Pro tip: Make reservations - we waited 15 mins even with one. πΆπ»ββοΈ 2-min walk β Union Station Denver's iconic transportation hub + meeting point for tours. Highly recommend staying nearby for easy access! π 19-min ride β Red Rocks + Echo Lake + Evergreen Tour ($95/person, 5 hours) Red Rocks Amphitheatre: A must-see natural wonder! Echo Lake: Completely frozen - like a giant mirror! Played in the snow and left footprints everywhere βοΈπ£. Evergreen Town: Quaint but touristy shops (handmade goods = pricey). π½οΈ Dinner @ Rioja (French) Located on a charming pedestrian street. Must-order: Lavender sourdough bread (so fragrant!), tender venison. Bonus: They gave us mini dessert cones for my friend's birthday! π 5-min β REI Flagship Store Outdoor lover's paradise - huge selection! Found an Arc'teryx ski jacket (perfect for our impromptu ski trip the next day!). Returned for North Face ski pants too - so worth it! #DenverTravel #Colorado #USATravel #WinterInApril #SkiTrip βοΈπ
