Denver Fine Dining – The Guest (Probably the First Review? ⭕️)

The Guest, a new fine dining spot in Denver, costs $225 per person and is located inside another restaurant called The Regular. Both share the same kitchen team—The Regular offers à la carte, while The Guest serves a 16-course Chef’s Menu with a dining time of around 2.5 hours. 🥤 The non-alcoholic pairing is $75 for five drinks, and the wine pairing is $150 for six. Since we were driving, we opted for the non-alcoholic pairing. ⭕️ Verdict: Not recommended. Honestly, it wasn’t good and didn’t feel worth the price. (It’s been open for months but has barely any Google/Yelp reviews…maybe Coloradans are just too nice to write harsh feedback? 😅) 💔 Seating is tight, music is fairly loud, and the overall atmosphere feels noisy and cramped. 💔 I mentioned it was a birthday—nothing special was offered, not even a gesture. 💔 My partner’s mother doesn’t eat raw fish/meat. For a raw scallop course, they didn’t substitute—they just skipped it entirely. I was shocked. 💔 Found fish bones and scales in one dish. 💔 The minced foie gras was dry and lacked richness—hard to tell what we were even eating. 💔 Several dishes were genuinely unpleasant: white fish with a weird salty chocolate sauce, lobster curry with overpowering cumin, and scallops that tasted slightly bitter. 💔 The pairing was poorly matched—felt random and disconnected from the food. #MichelinRestaurantReview #DateNight #LifeInTheUS #RestaurantFail #Colorado #Denver
