Had a 9-hour layover in Denver en route to Chicago—totally worth leaving the airport! (Taking the train downtown gave me major Pacific Northwest vibes 🌲🚆) 📍 Sam’s No. 3 HOW is their breakfast burrito 3x the size of my fist?! 😱 PLEASE go eat here for me—it’s the quintessential American diner with a hilariously massive menu (26 types of breakfast burritos?! Every combo imaginable). Split one with a friend and still couldn’t finish! Not gourmet, but iconic USA portion sizes. 🇺🇸🤯 🎄 Denver’s Christmas vibe was unexpectedly magical! Sad I missed the nighttime markets & lit-up streets. 🎅✨ 🏛️ Colorado State Capitol Gorgeous inside with free guided tours! Climb to the dome for panoramic city views. Perfect for history/politics nerds! 🏛️🔭 🍔 Last stop: In-N-Out (on the way back to the airport).
