Denver Train Adventure with 4 Kids 🚂🌈

Today was pure luck! Despite a looming rainstorm, we made it to the Georgetown Loop Railroad just in time for the 2:15 PM train (missed the 1 PM by 10 minutes!). While waiting, we stumbled upon Scooter’s Smokehouse & Grill—the BEST BBQ I’ve had in the U.S.! ✅ Pork burgers = heavenly 🐖🍔 Chicken burger = meh 🐔 Dino-shaped nuggets (tiny, store-bought vibes) + sad fries 😅 By the time we returned, rain stopped + sunshine! ☀️ Train Tips: 🧥 Bundle up! Even in June, the open-air train is FREEZING—we wore puffer jackets + blankets. ⛏️ 15-min stop at a silver mine (skipped it—seen similar in Australia). 🕒 Total ride: 1h10min (with a cool engine switch!).
