Dining Experience at C as in Charlie 🍛

🌸Restaurant reviews can be a bit like a rollercoaster 🎢, with so many places getting rave reviews even if they’re not that great. But this Korean restaurant in New York has a 4.8-star rating on Google Maps, so I thought I’d give it a shot. Menu and Food 🍔 🍃 The menu is super short. I ordered popcorn chicken and pasta. The total came to around $35, which isn’t exactly a steal 🤑. The food didn’t really live up to my expectations. The popcorn chicken has nothing to do with popcorn—it’s just fried chicken nuggets in a popcorn box. The taste is pretty standard for Korean fried chicken, with a slightly stronger black pepper flavor and a sweet and sour sauce. 🎢 The pasta had some interesting touches, like chopped green onions and pork cracklings, giving it an Asian-European fusion vibe. The base was a classic creamy pasta sauce. Portions 🍔 🌸The portions are on the smaller side, especially for guys. The pasta was really tiny, while the chicken nuggets were a normal North American serving size. Overall Impression 🌟 🌊 There wasn’t anything super amazing about the experience. In Manhattan, food is expensive no matter what, and this place is no exception. It’s decent but nothing special, and I can’t think of a reason to go back anytime soon. #CAsInCharlie #ManhattanKoreanFood 🍜
