Dining on German Comfort Food 🔥 Quiet Escape at a Speakeasy ‼️
Before I went! I read the reviews! And I was totally hooked. Had to give it a try. This is what that comment said: “If you want to experience German cuisine at a high level, you have to come to Simon in New York (too bad we don’t have such a chef and concept in Germany).” So! I made a dash for it!🔥 A Michelin-starred chef’s innovative private kitchen. Speakeasy🔥 In recent years… maybe because I’ve eaten a lot myself. Speakeasies are so much fun! I always look forward to them. The chef’s passion was not only experienced in the food. Even when he shook our hands, it was with strength. He even crushed my pinky nail. Me: “Bro! You crushed my nail!” He’s so strong! My husband said it was respect and politeness.🔥 The atmosphere is like a super large living room, with a bit of a private party feel. It was raining yesterday and it was so cold. No heater either. I was a bit worried. No exaggeration! The taste is okay, but it’s still our Chinese food that’s down-to-earth!🔥 #AtmosphericRestaurant #ExpressingRomanceThroughFood #NewYorkSpeakeasyRestaurant #NewYorkSpeakeasy #NewYorkHasItAll #WhatToEatInNewYork #GermanCuisineInNewYork #NewYorkAtmosphericRestaurant #NewYorkHiddenCuisine #MichelinNewYork #NewYorkFood #GermanComfortFoodInNewYork #GermanFood #GermanComfortFood #NewYorkFoodGuide #WhatToEatInNewYork #NewYorkFoodAndFun #100RestaurantExplorationPlan
