Dinner at Tito and Pep šµš½ļøāØ
One of Tucsonās most popular restaurants for sure! Iāve tried coming here a few times before, but it was either fully booked or had a wait time of 1ā2 hours. Since Iāve been on break and didnāt feel like cooking today, I thoughtāwhy not try again? Opened Google Maps, saw an available reservation⦠and went for it! š It was a Tuesday evening, and the place wasnāt too crowded. The restaurant is filled with lush green plants šæāI even spotted some asparagus fern! Loved the vibe. I ordered a non-alcoholic drink called The Cascabelāsweet, tangy, and refreshing. It really helped balance the rich flavors throughout the meal. Appetizer: Grilled Octopus š So tender and flavorful! And guess what? It was drizzled with Lao Gan Ma chili oil. YES, the real deal! How could it not be delicious?! Mains: Grilled Trout & Sea Bass š Both were incredibly fresh and grilled over mesquite wood, which gave them a unique smoky flavor. Absolutely satisfying! Dessert: Rosemary Orange Cake & Dark Chocolate Ganache šš« On their own, they were a bit subtle⦠but once I combined the chocolate, cream, and cake in one biteāmagic! ⨠Once again, thanks to my cool, zesty drink for keeping me refreshed till the very end. The service was friendly, attentive, and perfectly timed. The food came out quickly, and the atmosphere was relaxed and not too noisy. Honestly, this was one of the most comfortable dining experiences Iāve had in my over ten years living in Tucson. I left a 35% tip to show my appreciation! š Writing this makes me sound like an adāhaha! But no, Iām just a true food lover. They change their menu four times a year, and I canāt wait to see what they come up with next! #TucsonEats #TitoAndPep #FoodLover #RestaurantReview #EatLikeALocal #ArizonaFood #DesertDining #NoFilterJustFlavor
