Don’t Spend Hundreds on Seafood Towers in Sydney
Get Lobster at Darling Harbour for Only $69 Living in Sydney or visiting, the costs can be sky-high! Many popular spots near tourist attractions with high-quality seafood restaurants can be quite a shock to the wallet. 💰 Until I found this gem near Darling Harbour🏙️! A two-tier seafood tower for just $69, friends! Suddenly, all those$200-$300 seafood towers I’ve tried with mates seem less appealing. The whole dish is super fresh, including: 1️⃣ Baked Lobster with Cheese x 1/2 🦞 The creamy cheese + the tender and sweet Australian lobster with long whiskers, half of which at the Fish Market would set you back $40, and you avoid the hassle of fighting seagulls for your food (those who’ve been there know the struggle). 2️⃣ Baked Scallops with Cheese x 2 🥠 Mixed with salmon and beef fried rice, the flavors are layered and delicious, both fresh and glutinous. 3️⃣ Calamari Rings x 5 🦑 Fried to perfection, nice and crispy. 4️⃣ King Prawns x 4 🦐 Almost no shrimp line, sweet and refreshing. 5️⃣ Oysters x 2 🦪 The restaurant has prepared a lemony sauce, sweet and refreshing to the taste. 6️⃣ Mussels x 4 🫘 7️⃣ Thick-Cut Salmon x 5 🐟 Order this seafood tower and get non-alcoholic Mocktails for $9/cup now down to$6, and if you’re desired for more oysters, they’re $3 each to keep you going. One order is enough for two with smaller appetites, but if you’re in a group or want more, you can order 1-2 main courses. We added a 🥩 Sirloin Steak for $38, which is pretty reasonable in the area, cooked to a perfect Medium rare, and the sweet potato puree was delish. 🍛 The Wagyu and Duck Fried Rice comes with wok hei, a safe blind order. 🍨 The new Soft Serve Affogato is adorably round and super cute. 🎉 At the end, let’s give a shoutout to their coffee☕ that’s a hit on Xiaohongshu (search their coffee posts, there are loads), with cute latte art, priced at just $4.5 for a small and$5.2 for a large, a steal compared to the prices a few years back. 📍 Auvers Dining Darling Square The seafood tower is half price at $69 every Wednesday and Thursday from 5:00-6:30pm. The restaurant is just a 2-3 minute walk from Darling Harbour, perfect for a meal during a stroll or tour. #food #SydneySeafoodRestaurants #MustEatInSydney #MustEatInAustralia #AustraliaTravel #DarlingHarbour #SydneyDarlingHarbour #SydneyFood #SydneyTravel #AffordableRestaurantsInSydney
