Don't Leave Costa Rica Without Seeing San José from This Restaurant 🌸
San José, the capital of Costa Rica, is a city I’ve passed through several times—always in a rush—but my impression of it has slowly transformed.🍷 With its clean streets, cool climate, and genuinely kind people, San José feels refreshing yet unassuming. While wandering its roads and alleys, I used to think it was just a small city—until a local friend insisted: “You have to visit this restaurant. You’ll fall in love with San José here.” I trusted her, knowing how much she loves life and seeks out beautiful places to eat. So on my last trip, driven by curiosity, I called an Uber and set off. The ride from the old town took about 30 minutes, winding uphill into a quiet suburban neighborhood.🍷 Just as I began to wonder if the driver had taken a wrong turn, we stopped in front of a restaurant nestled among blooming bougainvillea. Slightly skeptical, I stepped through the entrance—and in just a few steps, the whole city unfolded before me, breathtaking and glorious. My mind raced with poetry: Where hills and streams end and roads seem lost, a village appears behind flowers and willows. As if spring wind swept in overnight, thousands of pear trees burst into bloom.🌟 Was this still San José? It felt more like Bogotá, the magical city from García Márquez’s tales—a place where the city itself seemed to burst into radiant bloom. Grateful for nature’s gift, I savored the boundless beauty, knowing every moment was worth it. I ordered food, drank two glasses of wine, and stayed until the stars came out, reluctant to leave.🌟 Restaurant: Mirador Tiquicia Address: Bebedero, San Antonio, Costa Rica 🇨🇷 And don’t even ask about the food—because that’s the least remarkable thing about this extraordinary place.😄 #HiddenGem #CityViews #LifeAbroad #RestaurantDiscovery #CostaRica #SanJosé #BloomWhereYouArePlanted
