DTLA One-Michelin-Star 🌟 Cozy Restaurant (Budget-Friendly)

I’ve been wanting to visit this place for so long, and finally, I made it to Orsa & Winston, the one-Michelin-starred restaurant near my place. It’s a cozy little spot with an open kitchen. The restaurant is small but incredibly inviting. I heard the name is inspired by two dogs, which just adds to the charm and makes it feel extra heartwarming. 🐶🥰 💰 We went for the omakase menu at $150 🥩 per person. Although it included only 5 dishes, they threw in 2 extra ones. We also added the $49 supplemental course, and trust me, we left completely satisfied. ⭐ **Complimentary Bite** We started with a fried ball. The outside was crispy, and the inside was soft and delicate. It was a perfect little appetizer. 🍔 ⭐ **Crudo (Raw Fish)** A Japanese-inspired appetizer that I always love. Crudo is such a fresh and delightful way to start a meal. 🍣 ⭐ **Vegetable** A salad with a tangy and refreshing dressing. Unfortunately, I’m not much of a salad person, so I barely touched this one. 🥗 ⭐ **Pasta** The star of the meal was the ravioli with crab and cream sauce. 🥟 The handmade pasta was firm and perfectly cooked, paired with delicious crab meat and a rich, creamy sauce. Every bite was full of flavor. 🦀 ⭐ **Satsuki Rice Seafood Porridge** This was the supplemental course we added, and it was worth every penny. The seafood was amazing—plenty of varieties like red shrimp, scallops, sea urchin, caviar, and fish. It was so fresh and flavorful! 🦞 ⭐ **Complimentary Corn Bread** We also got a side of warm cornbread, which was pretty good. 🥪 ⭐ **Fish** The fish main course had crispy skin and tender meat. The seasoning was light and refreshing, making it a delightful dish. 🐟 ⭐ **Sweet** We ended the meal with a caramel apple tart. 🍎 It was a bit on the sweet side, but it was a perfect way to finish the meal. Overall, the experience was fantastic. The restaurant is small with only a few tables, so it’s super intimate and not noisy at all. It’s perfect for a date, anniversary, or a girls’ night out. 🥂 For parking, there’s a public lot nearby for $10-$15. 🚗 #LosAngelesEats #LosAngelesFoodie #DateNight #MichelinRestaurant #OneMichelinStar #LosAngelesMichelin #FineDining #DTLA #LosAngelesFoodGuide
