๐๏ธThree Stretches of White Cliff Roads: From Eastbourne to Birling Gap, passing by the iconic Beachy Head Cliffs and the charming Belle Tout Lighthouse ๐ฐ, this route is currently a mainstream favorite. ๐กThe only significant incline is at Beachy Head itself, with the rest of the path being relatively flat. I've hiked this trail twice, and the most memorable experience was setting off at dawn, around 5 a.m., catching an Uber to Beachy Head and then walking westward. ๐ ๐ถโโ๏ธAlmost entirely alone, the tranquility was unparalleled compared to the bustling crowds during the day! At the end of this hike, you can catch a glimpse of the Seven Sisters White Cliffs or even choose to traverse them entirely ๐. Embarking on a southward journey from the Seven Sisters Visitor Centre towards the white cliffs and continuing eastward to Birling Gap ๐, it's best to start in the afternoon if you're heading from west to east.๐๏ธ ๐ For me, this segment provided the most exhilarating experience, with dramatic terrain undulations and breathtaking vistas.
