Early autumn in Toowoomba—its elegant, crisp charm is quite enchanting
Seizing the last bit of holiday vibes, I planned a day trip to Toowoomba to admire the maple leaves... 🍁 But... Brisbane’s autumn fashionably arrives a little later. 😅 Just a 1.5-hour drive 🚗 from Brisbane, after winding through breathtaking mountain roads ⛰️, this little town unfolds on the other side of the summit. Touted as the most beautiful garden city, it’s a 700m-altitude "hidden paradise". But maybe I came at the wrong season— no blooming flowers, no golden maple leaves in sight. 🍂 The streets were quiet, spotlessly clean, with artsy villas and architecture lining the roads, giving off a fresh, Southern French vibe. ⛪ No visits to trendy bakeries, no standout lunches, but I loved the town’s subtle, serene atmosphere. It brought back that "just arrived in Australia" excitement, with the air filled with the scent of grass and trees. 🌿 No noise, no rush—just pure calm. September is Toowoomba’s flower season, so next time, I hope to see it in full, vibrant bloom! 🌸 #Brisbane #Toowoomba #ToowoombaLife #ExploreBrisbane #AutumnVibes #ThatFirstHintOfFall
