East Coast Hiking Recommendation | Shenandoah National Park 🏞️
🚗 Road-Trip Recommendation | Skyline Drive A scenic road that runs through the park, totaling 105 miles and taking about 3 hours to drive. There are viewpoints every few minutes along the way, where you can take fancy photos with just a snap 📷 🧗 Hiking Trail Recommendations 1️⃣ Hawksbill Loop Choose this if you want the thrill of reaching the summit! You can do a short 1-hour hike straight to the top or a full 2-hour loop. 2️⃣ Dark Hollow Trail A classic short hike to a waterfall, about 2.2km long, with streams, waterfalls, and a suspension bridge along the way. The scenery is very soothing (don’t forget to wear non-slip shoes 🥾) 🏞️ Must-Visit: Luray Caverns The largest cave with stalactites on the East Coast. The entrance fee is $34 (you can book online or walk in). Inside the caverns, there’s a unique model of a stalactite pipe organ 🎹 💡 Tips 1️⃣ Download offline maps: Signal can be unstable in the mountains, so it’s good to prepare in advance. 2️⃣ Accommodation recommendation: We chose an Airbnb near Luray, a large and new townhouse that was perfect for a 4-day stay, very chill. #ShenandoahNationalPark #Hiking #LurayCaverns #EastCoast #Hiking #HikingNearNewYork #DCAreaGetaways #DMVWeekend #NYAreaGetaways #RoadTripUSA
