Eating in Vegas π₯³π€© Part 4
π Big Dan Noodles Verdict: Absolutely, insanely delicious! Big Dan, you are my hero β this place is SO GOOD that after eating in-store, I ordered takeout twice more! Located inside a supermarket in Chinatown, the shop is small but mighty. Their "Three Mixed Noodles with Chili Oil" is incredible β even better with a dash of vinegar! The hand-pulled wide noodles are wonderfully chewy, and the seasoning is fragrant and savory. We also tried: Lamb Pao Mo (Bread Soaked in Lamb Soup): Heavenly when hot, a bit oily once it cools, but still fantastic. Sesame Sauce Liangpi: Not sweet-and-sour style (which I prefer), so just okay for me. Qishan Saozi Noodles: I LOVED these β added extra vinegar and nearly drank all the broth! π π² Crab Prince Wasn't very hungry, so we only tried their build-your-own spicy hot pot (sold by weight). Stir-fried in a Chongqing hotpot-style base β I mostly loaded up on lamb (craving it that day!), so can't speak much about the other ingredients. π Fish Together Ordered two sauerkraut fish bowls for delivery β one tomato flavor, one classic pickled cabbage. Maybe it's been too long since I've had this dish, but I actually thought it was pretty good! Only downside: their rice was terrible β southern-style, broken, and hard. π¨ Hui Lau Shan A classic Hong Kong-style dessert shop. With a buy-one-get-one-free deal on Uber Eats, it felt like a steal! We tried the Mango Jumbo and Taro Paste Dessert β both were generously loaded and delicious. The taro one had a black rice porridge-like base, slightly sweet but very tasty, with tender taro and chewy taro balls. π₯ Eggslut The famous nationwide egg sandwich chain. The classic Fairfax has incredibly soft and fragrant scrambled eggs. The Slut portion felt a bit small (just a few bread slices), but the flavors were on point. Their orange juice also tasted fresh β not like artificial concentrate! #LasVegasEats #ChineseFood #BigDanNoodles #HuiLauShan #Eggslut ππ₯π₯
