Today, I’m sharing my experience at a South American Chilean restaurant in Edinburgh. The dining environment is simple yet romantic, with little candleholders on the tables. The flavors are unique and innovative. Join me on this food adventure! 🍽️ 🏠 Superico Bar & Lounge 📍 Postcode: EH21DJ, not far from Princes Street 📖 Booking Tip : Remember one rule—never walk in on a Friday or weekend night in the UK. 💰 Price : £34 per person (includes a 10% voluntary service charge). 🍝 Food Highlights : 🥗 Starters : 1⃣️ BBQ Flatbread 🍖: This BBQ flatbread has a unique flavor, somewhat like naan. It comes with pomegranate seeds and a green BBQ sauce. The taste is quite distinctive and delicious! The bread has a perfect texture, not as hard as a baguette. 2⃣️ Oyster 🦪: A small oyster served on a lemon slice. The taste is decent, but it’s more suited for those who enjoy raw seafood. 🍲 Main Courses : 1⃣️ Flat Iron Steak 🍖: This steak is a winner! It’s medium-rare, with a crispy exterior and tender interior. Highly recommended! 2⃣️ Rabbit 🐰: Rabbits are cute, but this dish is surprisingly tender. Give it a try if you’re feeling adventurous! 😜 🍟 Sides : 1⃣️ Fries : The fries are amazing! The ketchup🍅 has a unique sweet and spicy flavor, quite different from Heinz. 2⃣️ Potato Braves : These are roasted potatoes 🥔 topped with cheese sauce, tomato sauce, and cheese shavings. The potatoes are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside—delicious! 🍰 Dessert : 🍦 Tarte Tatin : This dessert is absolutely incredible! The star of the show! Warm, flaky pastry topped with honey and a scoop of cold ice cream. It’s pure bliss! Though it’s on the sweeter side, dessert lovers must try it! 🍼 Overall, Superico offers an interesting South American dining experience. I might not return soon, as our meal cost £60 without drinks. With beverages, it could easily reach £40 per person. The dining experience is charming, but the value for money is a bit low.
