Edinburgh Italian cuisine at Pomo Pizzeria.

I chose Pomo from three 🍠 recommended Italian restaurants: Pomo pizzeria, Piccolino Edinburgh, and L'Artigiano Edinburgh, by rolling dice. We made a reservation in advance, and it was a good thing we did because when we arrived, the restaurant was full with people waiting for tables. The food turned out to be really good, and I highly recommend it, no duds here! 🍀 Gamberoni Appetizer prawns with a slightly spicy garlic and tomato flavor. 🍝 Spaghetti Bolognese and Risotto pescatore Classic spaghetti Bolognese and seafood risotto with very fresh mussels, no strange taste, and we cleared our plates! 🍰 For dessert, the recommended Tiramisu was sold out, so we ordered a pistachio cheesecake. The highest praise for desserts among Chinese people is that it's not too sweet. The taste was really good, but it wasn't as strong as the pistachio gelato. 🍸🍹 Their wine was a bit too sweet, so we ordered sparkling water to mix with it (I don't know if it's strange, but it was too sweet to drink on its own!) πŸ’· Average cost per person is 35, including a 10% service charge. πŸ“ 250 Morrison St, Edinburgh EH3 8DT A pleasant surprise, their service was really, really good, not overly enthusiastic, but just right. My friend and I wanted to order the white sauce Risotto but didn't check carefully and ordered the tomato one instead. We were a bit disappointed when it arrived, so we asked which one was the white sauce, and he said the one with pure mushrooms. If we still wanted the white sauce after tasting the tomato one, he would change it for us! We didn't change it because it was delicious, and we told the waiter it was good. He then asked if we liked the seafood rice, and he would sell it at the Grassmarket and Stockbridge markets on weekends! I had planned to go this Saturday, and when I mentioned I had been there before and was planning to go again this week, he said he would give me something but I didn't understand what he meant in English. As it turned out, he gave me an extra box of rice today, pictured in p6. A lucky day! #EdinburghFood #ItalianRestaurant #DateNightRestaurant
