Edinburgh SKUA | Dining Is a Fun Thing 😋
SKUA is located in a beautiful residential area. You need to go downstairs to see it, and it’s not very conspicuous. 🕵️♂️ The restaurant is small, with dim lighting that gives it a cozy tavern vibe. 🥂 There’s a wide variety of cocktails and wines. I had three cocktails, and each one was a delightful surprise. I love places that don’t stick to traditional cocktails—there are so many variations, and it’s so boring to keep drinking the same few. 🥤 The dishes are also interesting. The otoro ceviche was the best I’ve ever had in terms of fat content. The beef tartare was incredibly tender; two people practically fought over it. The combination of mushrooms and onsen eggs seemed plain from the name but turned out to be the best dish of the night, especially with the tangy plum sauce. It was a perfect bite. The fried chicken, however, was a bit of a letdown. The chicken was dry, and the sauce was too greasy. I’d skip the fried chicken. The lamb was well done, more traditional, but the vegetables all had a nice charcoal flavor. 🍖 Good drinks and good food make for a very satisfying experience. 😌 #Edinburgh
