Edo Tokyo Museum ποΈ
The permanent exhibitions are located on the 5th and 6th floors. π After entering the museum, take the elevator straight up to the 6th floor, where you'll find a meticulously recreated model of the 17th-century Nihonbashi Bridge, a highlight of Edo Tokyo. π πOnce you've explored the 6th floor, head down to the 5th floor via elevator (I personally prefer the 5th floor). In addition to the Edo display area, there are also sections dedicated to the Meiji, Taisho, Showa, and Heisei periods, providing a comprehensive overview of Tokyo's development through different eras. π π The museum offers a wealth of historical and cultural knowledge about Edo Tokyo, covering various aspects such as administration, work, education, entertainment, and art. It's a treasure trove for anyone interested in Japan's rich history. π πThe current special exhibition is an Ancient Egypt display, located in the special exhibition room on the 1st floor. It will run until April 4th. Please note: A separate ticket is required for the special exhibition. π« π #EdoTokyoMuseum π
