As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted with the charming atmosphere of a European tavern. I ordered three dishes: the signature German crispy pork knuckle, chicken liver dumplings, and potato pancakes, and they were all delicious! German Crispy Pork Knuckle 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I came here specifically for this dish! The skin is crispy, and when you cut into it, the meat inside is tender and incredibly juicy. It’s so flavorful! Served with boiled potato slices, sauerkraut, and a side of mustard, which not only cuts through the richness but also adds extra flavor. Chicken Liver Dumplings 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Out of curiosity, I ordered this dish. It’s more like “meatballs” than dumplings. But these chicken liver meatballs are perfectly seasoned, with a savory aroma and a smooth, delicate texture. There’s also a unique blend of spices in there. Eating them with the beef broth is simply delightful! Potato Pancakes 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Many people recommended the potato pancakes. I found them a bit greasy, but my boyfriend thought they were very fragrant. Surprisingly, they’re served with apple sauce, which helps to cut through the richness. Make sure to eat them while they’re hot, as the flavor diminishes once they cool down.
