Enjoying Tea at Tsurumiryokuchi Park 🍵 | Ryokuchikoen

The morning sun was lovely, so I decided to go out for a stroll. 🌸🌺🌿🍃 Being not a morning person, I arrived at the park just in time to catch the last rays of sunlight. The Botanical house seemed popular, but feeling too full, I noticed a sign pointing to a tea house and followed it. 🌸🌺🌿🍃 At the entrance, there was an elderly man in a kimono to greet us. Inside, there were eight spots on either side. 🌸🌺🌿🍃 For 500 yen, you receive a small card from an elderly lady in a kimono. After taking off your shoes and wiping your hands with a wet towel, you can experience making tea yourself. 🌸🌺🌿🍃 The elderly lady will guide you step by step: the amount of matcha to use, how to add water, and then how to sift the tea. It's quite interesting. 🌸🌺🌿🍃 In the end, when it came to whisking the matcha, the elderly lady kept urging me to hurry, perhaps because I wasn't strong enough and didn't create much foam. 🌸🌺🌿🍃 She took over for a moment and produced the foam magically. The tea was paired with a red bean-filled sweet 🫘, and the entire set wasn't too sweet. 🌸🌺🌿🍃 The tea house was very Japanese-style, perfect for taking a break. The elderly lady was also eager to help take photos, capturing the moments of making and tasting tea. 🌸🌺🌿🍃 A perfect day of rest 🫖 #OsakaJapan 🗾 | #OsakaExploration 🏯 🌸🌺🌿🍃
