Enjoying Tokyo-Style Omakase in New York! 🌟
I made a reservation for this place on a weekend night, and I was completely blown away after dining here! 🎉 15 pieces for $98, it’s incredibly worth it and feels even better than what I had in Tokyo. The menu includes gizzard shad, scallops, greater amberjack, king salmon, yellowtail, grilled eel, sea urchin, foie gras eel, and tamago with fish roe and crab meat... The chef🧑🍳 is very nice and keeps checking in to make sure you’re enjoying the meal. Here are a few of my favorite courses: 🍣Eel and Foie Gras Sushi The eel and foie gras are grilled right in front of you. They’re incredibly tender and full of rich sauce. The combination of textures and the aroma from the grilling make it unforgettable. 😍 🍣Hokkaido Sea Urchin Sushi The sea urchin is just amazing! The chef showed us a huge box of fresh uni, and it’s incredibly tender. It melts in your mouth, and I could eat it again and again...😭 The freshness is on par with what I had in Hokkaido. 🍣Caviar and Fatty Tuna My absolute favorite, Otoro!! It’s still so fatty and melts in your mouth. The caviar adds a perfect touch, and the gold leaf on top makes it feel super luxurious. The dessert was yuzu sorbet, which was refreshing and perfect to end the meal. 🍋 I definitely want to come back here! (I’m so curious about their uni supplier. I want to buy a whole box, haha!) 🥢Masaaki 214-16 41st Ave, Bayside, NY 11361 It’s only a ten-minute drive from Flushing. 🚗 #NewYorkFood 🍔 #NewYorkWeekend 🌆
