Erge Eatery: A Must-Try Lunch Spot! 🍱
Just had to share my fantastic find this month—Erge Eatery! If you’re in Atlanta and craving hearty, delicious meals, this place deserves your attention. 😋 Let’s rewind a bit: I had lunch today at Chubby Cattle, the $58 set menu. It was… fine? Good service, nice ambiance, and a variety of sides and sauces, but nothing that blew my mind. No regrets, but no fireworks either. 🎆🚫 Later, I strolled around Avalon (without spending a dime 💸), then dropped by Mayor’s to ask about the Rolex I’d inquired about two years ago. The sales associate was super polite and promised to “expedite” my request—though we all know good service doesn’t always mean good results. Will I get the call next year? Who knows. 🤷♀️ I also made my third run to the Hema Bakery inside Great Wall. I’ve tried nearly 10 items so far, and aside from the slightly underwhelming Osmanthus Mochi, everything has been delicious. Sadly, no taro cake this time—maybe it sells out fast, or maybe its shelf life is just too short. 🍰💔 But the real star of the day? Erge Eatery! For $15.99, you get a bento box with a drink or soup. At first, I thought it was a bit pricey, but let’s be real—everything’s gotten more expensive lately, and this is pretty standard for a quality meal. Then I watched the owner pack my box… and pack it… and pack it some more. It was overflowing! I even dug in at home before remembering to take a photo (oops!), and there was still plenty left. The portions are incredibly generous, and the flavors? Absolutely delicious! 😍🍛 From what I gathered, they specialize in Northeastern Chinese dishes—rich, savory, and seriously satisfying. I couldn’t stop eating! It’s safe to say I’m officially a fan of Northeastern cuisine. Honestly, I enjoyed this more than my $58 Chubby Cattle experience… 😳 If you’re looking for a filling, flavorful, and totally worth-it meal, give Erge Eatery a try. You won’t be disappointed! Have you been? What’s your favorite dish there? Let me know! 👇 #AtlantaEats#ErgeEatery#LunchGoals#FoodReview#AtlantaLife
