Estiatorio Milos Midtown
I recently dined at Estiatorio Milos Midtown, and it was an interesting experience. The restaurant is known for its Greek cuisine, and we decided to try all the signature dishes. ๐ We ordered grilled squid, sea bass, sashimi, lobster pasta, and Colorado lamb chops. The grilled squid was tender and flavorful, and the sea bass was perfectly cooked with a crispy skin. However, the other dishes were just average โ nothing to write home about. ๐ค๐ One thing that stood out was the demographic of the restaurant. The crowd was predominantly white, and we didnโt see any Black patrons or staff members. It felt a bit out of place in such a diverse city like New York. ๐ ๐ For five people, the cost was around $1,000 before adding the tip. Itโs definitely on the pricier side, but you get what you pay for in terms of ambiance and service. ๐ฅ ๐Overall, it was a decent meal, but I wouldnโt say it was worth the hype. There are plenty of other Greek restaurants in the city that offer similar dishes at more affordable prices. Maybe next time, Iโll explore some of the lesser-known gems. ๐ #NewYork #GreekFood #DiningExperience ๐๐
