Ethiopian Cuisine in DC
In Crystal City, there’s plenty of street parking available, making it easy to find a spot. With over a thousand Google reviews, this place must have been around for quite some time. For appetizers, we tried the sambusa beef, delicious! For the main course, we ordered the meat lover combo for one and the veggie combo for one. It would be just right for three people to share, but we weren’t very hungry and couldn’t finish it all. We used this bread that looks like a towel roll to wrap the food – it was so good! The bread is soft, full of fermentation holes, with a slight tangy flavor. The overall seasoning of the dishes is a mix of sour, salty, and spicy, which is acceptable, and some of the meats are quite tasty. If you visit in the winter, you really should experience their super powerful space heater in the bathroom, it’s super warm! ☀️ 💰 Average cost per person: $24 #DMV #dmv #WashingtonDC #WashingtonDCFood #OffTheBeatenPath #AfricanCuisine #DMVFood
