Every Dish Was Wiped Clean|Authentic Shandong Cuisine 🌊🥢

Just visited M&T Restaurant (formerly Qing Dao Ren Jia) in Fairfield, NJ — and wow, it was incredible! 😋 We started with their signature clams in garlic soy sauce — so fresh and wok‑kissed, it felt like being back at a seaside eatery in China. Loved it! ❤️ Their daily special cod fish 🐟 was priced at $110 but worth every penny — the tenderest fish I’ve ever had, steamed with light soy and scallions. Perfection. Shrimp‑braised Napa cabbage 🥬 was another standout — the chef first fries the shrimp heads 🦐 to extract their essence, then cooks the cabbage in that fragrant oil. Unbelievably savory. The steamed egg with scallops was silky and delicate, infused with seafood sweetness — couldn’t stop eating it. We also tried boiled mantis shrimp — sweet, tender meat dipped in a special sauce (a bit tricky to peel, but worth the effort!). Finished with Shandong‑style mackerel dumplings — authentic, bouncy fish filling. Highly recommended! 📍 Address: 14 US‑46, Fairfield, NJ 07004 (Note: The restaurant was renamed M&T Restaurant / Tang Jia Shi Fu) 💰 Price: Around $60 per person If you’re near North Jersey or willing to travel for truly fresh, masterfully cooked Shandong‑style seafood, this spot is an absolute must. Each dish spoke of tradition, technique, and heart. 🥟✨ #NYCFood #ShandongCuisine #SeafoodLovers #NJEats #ChineseFood #FairfieldNJ #MTRestaurant #FreshFish #DumplingLove #FoodieAdventure #EatLikeLocal #AsianCuisine #CleanPlateClub
