Near the Place de la Concorde, there’s a French restaurant under the LVMH group, designed by the director of Dior Maison. You can have breakfast or a coffee here ☕️. The restaurant boasts a century-long history and the food is surprisingly delicious! The menu is not extensive but features very authentic French dishes 🍴 (Menu attached at the end). 🩵Entrée - Starter: 🐌Les 6 gros escargots - French baked snails A specialty of the house and a classic French dish, the snails are prepared very cleanly, with a hint of spice and butter, perfect when paired with bread! 🦢Foie gras de canard - Duck foie gras with sweet white wine jelly The foie gras has a delicate texture, soft and silky, served with a sweet white wine jelly from the Sauternes region 🍾️. It’s a unique combination, I’ve never had foie gras with wine jelly before! 🩵Plat - Main Course: 🍝Rigatoni à la truffe - Black truffle cream pasta Surprisingly with fresh black truffles‼️ Combined with an ultra-creamy sauce! Each bite is incredibly aromatic and delicious!! It’s so good, you’ll want to lick the plate 😭. 🥩Tartare de boeuf - Beef tartare My favorite beef tartare, with a lighter flavor. I like the milder onion taste, and the tartare meat is delicate, with a distinct aroma of parsley. The fries are super crispy when hot! The ketchup is sweet, and the mayonnaise is mixed with Dijon mustard!! So good! I took a photo, I’ll see if I can find it for sale later. 🏠Café Lapérouse Concorde 📍(Near Place de la Concorde) 💰Average price: 40-60 euros ⚠️Reservations are required, you can speak English/French, or book online. Enjoying French cuisine in the luxurious decor of the Htel de la Marine is truly delightful 🥂. The sense of ceremony is strong, both the tableware and the environment are upscale, and the value for money is great! In winter, I suggest sitting inside, with Christmas decorations 🎄.
