Experience Indoor Immersive Hot Spring Shabu-Shabu in New York 🌊
On a weekend night, my partner and I visited this super popular hot spring-themed shabu-shabu place in K-Town! "Oncheon" means "hot spring" in Korean, and this Oncheon in New York K-Town perfectly blends "hot spring culture" with modern Korean cuisine, creating a unique immersive hot spring-themed restaurant. 📍 Oncheon NYC As soon as you walk into the restaurant, you're greeted by a calming and warm atmosphere. The wooden decor, soft lighting, hot spring pool design elements, and the sound of flowing water in the background music create a cozy and soothing ambiance. It feels like you've stepped into traditional Korean hot spring culture—a rare relaxing space in the heart of New York City. 1️⃣ Dokdo Island Iced Tea A refreshing iced tea with a clear and layered taste, perfect for cleansing the palate. It feels like you're sipping a cool tea drink in a hot spring, both stress-relieving and healing. 2️⃣ Milk Tea Honeycomb Makgeolli A blend of makgeolli with honey and milk tea flavors, gentle and sweet. I never thought it would be so delicious! Even I, who usually don't drink alcohol, fell in love with it. 3️⃣ Uni Wagyu Tartare The tenderness of the wagyu combined with the richness of the sea urchin creates a luxurious, melt-in-your-mouth texture. 4️⃣ Su-yuk The pork is slow-cooked at a low temperature, resulting in juicy and flavorful meat. Paired with sauce and Korean kimchi, it's refreshing and not greasy. 5️⃣ Shabu: Signature Doenjang - 4 Layer The doenjang (soybean paste) broth is rich and flavorful. The four layers of food are exquisite: a box of vegetables, mushrooms, and pumpkin; a box of desserts (including delicious lychee jelly); a box of side dishes (kimchi, tofu, almonds, etc.); and a box of wagyu. Plus, a plate of noodles as the main course—it's truly filling! 6️⃣ Green Tea Tiramisu The fluffy texture of the tiramisu combined with the delicate aroma of green tea creates a perfect blend. The taste is smooth, with a long-lasting aftertaste. #FoodUniverse #NationalHotPotMap #HotPotInterest #WarmUpForWinterSolstice #BeautifulWinterMeal #SavoringTheFlavors #HealedByFood
