Exploring Lucky Cat: A Hidden Gem in Midtown New York ๐
After catching a concert and a movie in Times Square, I stumbled upon Lucky Cat, a delightful Japanese izakaya. The moment I walked in, I was transported to a cozy corner of Japan. ๐ The restaurantโs layout and decor are rich in Japanese cultural elements โ from the traditional lanterns to the wooden furnishings, it feels like one of the most authentic Japanese spots in New York! ๐ฟ ๐ I visited twice and mainly ordered the eel rice, which was incredibly flavorful. The eel was tender and perfectly grilled, with a sweet and savory sauce that made every bite memorable. ๐ The star of the house is the โmeat mountain hot pot,โ which looks incredibly tempting. I didnโt order it this time because I couldnโt finish it alone, but Iโll definitely try it with friends next time. The ramen and soups are also very comprehensive, and the dining atmosphere is warm and peaceful. ๐ ๐ Address: 232 E 53rd St, NY 10022 ๐ #NYCFoodie #JapaneseIzakaya #LuckyCat ๐
