Exploring New York: A Visit to Miomio 🍰

Today, I want to share my experience with Miomio, a Japanese dessert shop that was super popular and hard to get into! 🌟 📍 61 Vandam St, New York, NY 10013 🌸Near Soho This place has really quirky hours—Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. (I’m so jealous as a working person! 😭) 🎢 And on Instagram, it’s so popular that it’s nearly impossible to get a reservation! I went one Friday afternoon around 2:30 p.m., and surprisingly, they still had a good selection of items—sake cookies, fruit sandwiches, and more. 🍂 🌊 The sake cookies were a delightful surprise at first bite! They have a subtle sake flavor and are super crispy. But after a few bites, they get a bit too rich, probably because of the buttery filling. 🍪 I also tried the Fig cake. It was a big letdown—5 dollars for a piece smaller than the palm of my hand, and the taste was just really average. 🥔 🍃They also have a tofu toast, which I was super curious and excited about. But honestly, it felt no different from regular toast. 🥪 In summary, if you can get in without any hassle, the sake cookies are worth a try. But if the line is too long or you can’t make it on a weekday, it’s probably not worth the effort. #NewYork 🌆🌟
