Exploring New York's Tea Room: DUO

Visiting DUO CAFE was truly an unexpected delight. My original plan for an autumn picnic in Central Park was washed away by a heavy downpour. πŸŽ’πŸƒ Luckily, Plan B led us to this newly opened tea room just as they had available seats. So, the five of us ordered two pots of tea and three desserts, and watched the weather turn from gloomy to bright. πŸ›οΈ With the tea smoke swirling, the oil paintings on the walls, the soft music, and the dried flowers, the atmosphere was incredibly cozy. πŸŽ’πŸƒMost importantly, the oolong and Tieguanyin teas here satisfied my discerning taste buds, as someone from Fujian who grew up drinking fine teas. Of course, you can brew great tea at home, but there's nothing like sharing it with friends. πŸŽ’πŸƒ The experience was enhanced by the stunning pastries. I particularly loved the Osmanthus Oolong Basque and the roasted sweet potato with ice cream. 🌟 πŸ“ 223 E 5th Street, New York NY #NewYorkExploration 🌟 #ShopHopping πŸ›οΈ #WeekendAdventures πŸŒ‡
