Exploring São Paulo, Brazil | Argentine Steakhouse CASA PORTEÑA🥩

Finally! After visiting this restaurant again, I, the queen of procrastination, have finally updated the guide~ CASA PORTEÑA is really a hidden gem of an Argentine steakhouse in São Paulo! It has long become my "canteen" — when I don't know what to eat, rushing here is never wrong!😌 Appetizer Top 1 - Batata Waffle Quadrada (Square Potato Waffle) R$ 46,00 This potato waffle is simply the "twin sibling" of McDonald's hash browns in China!🍟 As a die-hard potato waffle lover, I was over the moon! It's making a limited-time comeback recently, and it also comes with two dipping sauces — so delicious that it's even more tempting than French fries! Appetizer 2 - Salada Porteña (Loaded Salad) R$ 72,00 As a salad enthusiast, I must order this plate every time I come🥗! Their salad really stays on my mind for ages — the ingredients are piled high, and apart from the usual toppings, the best part is the crispy fried potato strips on top! What's more, you can order a half portion, so you never have to worry about wasting food again~ Appetizer 3 - Croqueta De Costela (Rib Meat Croquettes) R$46/6 pieces Croquettes are a dish I love to try at various restaurants, and this one is really amazing! They use rib meat, so the texture is softer and more flavorful. Dip it in BBQ sauce and take a bite — your mouth is full of meaty aroma, so satisfying!😋 Appetizer 4 - Morcilla (Blood Sausage) R$68/2 pieces I never used to be able to stand blood sausage, but this one completely changed my mind! It's sweeter than others, and the crispy casing "pops" when you bite into it — surprisingly delicious!😲 Main Course Top 1 - Nuestra Tabla (Mixed Grill Platter) R$209 The platter includes 300g of Chorizo (Spanish spicy sausage), two sausages, and garlic bread! The portion is huge — if you're in a small group or have a small appetite, just go for this, it's filling and satisfying! Main Course 2 - Assado de Tiras (Grilled Beef Ribs) R$198 for 2 pieces Tapa de Cuadril (picanha, rump cap) R$176/300g Grilled meat is definitely their signature dish!🥩 The fat is evenly distributed, it's grilled to a fragrant char, yet the meat is tender enough to cut easily — one bite and you'll be in food heaven~ Also, highly recommend their Arroz Porteño! It tastes just like fried rice from China, a bite that takes you back home! Besides regular grilled meats, there are higher-quality options, like tomahawk steaks, T-bone steaks, and even Wagyu-level ones — meat lovers can boldly give them a try! Main Course 3 - Penne à La Pampa (Pampa-style Penne) R$72 I could eat three bowls of this staple! The creamy sauce coats the penne, mixed with green peas and sausage cubes, and topped with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese — "Knowledge is power" really rings true here!🧀 Currently, it has four locations in São Paulo. The most convenient ones are probably the ones at mooca plaza shop and shop patio higoenopoles. The restaurant has large round tables, perfect for group dinners! The average cost per person is around 120 reais, and both the food quality and service are on point — feel free to go for it~ #InternationalStudentFoodHunt #WesternFood #HiddenGemRestaurantShare
