Exploring the Top of the Rock in New York ๐
The Top of the Rock, the observation deck at Rockefeller Center, offers one of the most stunning views of Manhattan. From the majestic landscapes of Central Park to the breathtaking city skyline, few places capture the extraordinary charm of New York quite like this. The Empire State Building is right there in front of you. ๐ ๐ข The observation deck spans three levels. The 67th floor features both indoor and outdoor areas, while the 69th and 70th floors are entirely outdoor. Both the 67th and 69th floors have reinforced glass barriers. ๐ The 70th-floor terrace provides the best views with only waist-high railings, and it's built above the 69th floor, ensuring safety. Gift shops are located on the 69th floor and the ground floor, though the variety of souvenirs is somewhat limited. I picked up a whiskey glass with the Rockefeller logo for about $16. ๐ฅ ๐ธTickets need to be booked online in advance, and they cost around $40 per person. After booking, you'll receive a QR code. Upon entering Rockefeller Center, security will scan your QR code before you proceed to the elevator. After exiting the elevator, you'll go through a security check. Then, you'll enter a small exhibition area showcasing the history of Rockefeller Center. ๐ฟ ๐ Location: Rockefeller Center, New York, NY #NewYork ๐
