Finally had the department treat at a fancy restaurant! 🍽️
Today the department organized a meal at a place called Akar. The atmosphere was really elegant, with warm yellow lighting and wooden tables—the vibe was absolutely perfect✨! We all sat together, chatting while waiting for the dishes, feeling as lively as a holiday celebration~ We started with a roasted vegetable salad dressed with tangy lemon juice—very refreshing🥗. For the main course, I ordered duck breast, plated like a work of art🎨. But after one bite, I noticed the meat was a bit dry and took some effort to chew😅. My colleague’s grilled salmon, though, was tender and juicy—looks like ordering is a game of chance~ Dessert was tiramisu—soft and fluffy with a lovely coffee aroma☕. However, there was a bit too much mascarpone cheese, making it somewhat heavy, and the cake layers were almost unnoticeable… It would’ve been perfect if the cheese and coffee were better balanced! Overall, it was a super enjoyable meal🥳! Even though the food had minor flaws, sharing laughs and stories with everyone made it truly heartwarming❤️.
