First Bite After Landing—Absolutely Amazing!

After checking into the hotel, I headed straight to the fresh market. 📍 Torvehallerne KBH One of the world's largest food markets, with over 100 privately-owned stalls. Ma Poule A French-style counter specializing in foie gras, pre-dinner snacks, and tapas (small buns, sliced meats, cheeses, fried meats, etc.).🤣 Pluma Rossini: 130 DKK per piece ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A bit pricey, but incredibly delicious. The foie gras is incredibly smooth and tender, paired perfectly with Iberian pork that’s cooked to perfection. Each bite is a luxurious feast of fat, rich in flavor without being greasy. Open Sandwiches 🍲 Danish-style open-faced sandwiches with thin slices of dark rye bread, sprinkled with nuts, and topped with various ingredients. Egg & Shrimps: 75 DKK per piece ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I chose the egg and shrimp option since the others had a lot of onions. The shrimp were very chewy and flavorful, with a sweet and slightly tangy sauce that went well with the dish. I recommend getting a drink because the eggs can be a bit dry.🥩 🍓 Fruit Stalls Avoid them! Don't buy! Hold back!🍲 They are incredibly expensive. I later found out that this is one of the priciest fruit stalls in Denmark. Raspberries: 25 DKK per box (the staff overcharged us by 10 DKK, but we got it back after pointing it out).🥩 Figs: 15 DKK each!! I bought four for 60 DKK... In Italy, I could have bought a whole box for that price. #GlobalEatingAdventures #HiddenGems #MarketTherapy #Sashimi #FreshProduce #Torvehallerne #Denmark #Copenhagen #MaPoule #CopenhagenFood
