First Impressions of Las Vegas ✨

🎄 Christmas Holiday Trip 2025 First stop: Las Vegas 🌵✨ Derived from Spanish meaning “fertile valley,” Las Vegas is known as the Entertainment Capital of the World 🎰🎭. Located in the oasis valley of Clark County, Nevada, it’s surrounded by desert and mountains, with nearby natural wonders like Red Rock Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, and Antelope Canyon 🏞️. We had three main goals for this trip: 🏨 Hotel Hopping Along The Strip, starting from the iconic Welcome to Las Vegas sign, we walked from south to north and visited: Luxor Hotel Excalibur Hotel & Casino New York-New York Hotel M&M’s World & Coca-Cola Store 🍫🥤 Paris Las Vegas 🗼 Bellagio (⭐️ Don’t miss the fountain shows every 15–30 minutes! At night, watch from the hotel’s curved walkway for views of the fountains, Paris Hotel, Sphere, and the High Roller 🎡✨) Caesars Palace 🏛️ Flamingo Las Vegas 🦩 The Venetian Resort 🛶 The Plaza Hotel (where we stayed — check my last post for tips!) Wynn Las Vegas 💎 From the skybridges near the last two hotels, you can catch a distant view of the Sphere 🎇 ⚠️ Walking all these hotels in one day is exhausting — better to split it into two days. Take your time, snap photos, or grab an 8 USD day pass for the bus 🚌 or hop on free hotel trams. 🎭 See a Show You haven’t really been to Vegas until you’ve seen a show! Major hotels host incredible performances: O by Cirque du Soleil: aquatic theater 🌊 KA: acrobatics, martial arts, pyrotechnics 🔥 David Copperfield: classic magic 🪄 Blue Man Group: no dialogue, all vibes 🔵 Australia’s Thunder From Down Under: interactive fun perfect for girls’ night out 💃 We chose Awakening Show at Wynn — stunning projections, music, and special effects! ✨ 🍽️ Eat All the Food Every hotel offers a variety of dining options, but popular spots often require reservations. Big thanks to my travel buddy for planning our meals — we tasted fresh, authentic dishes from around the world! 🌍🍜 Travel isn’t just about ticking boxes or taking photos.
