First Impressions of Yokohama (1)๐โจ
Our trips are often spontaneous, but it's really better to plan ahead because last-minute bookings for flights and hotels can be super expensive, especially during holidays! ๐ฎโ๐จ โ๏ธ Itinerary: We chose to travel at the end of April to avoid the peak crowds during Golden Week. ๐ Transportation Tips: Haneda to Yokohama: The train is the fastest option (Suica card accepted), taking just 30 minutes to reach Yokohama Station. Of course, you can also take the bus, but it takes longer and is less convenient. ๐โจ ๐ In-City: If it's convenient, taking a taxi is a good choice. For short distances, it costs around 2000 yen. Yokohama is not a big city, and popular areas are quite close to each other. Basically, you only need to take a taxi to and from the hotel to give your feet a break. ๐โจ ๐จ Accommodation Recommendations: Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu: The rooms are 25 sqm, the facilities are relatively new, and you can see the coastline. The breakfast is diverse and tasty. It's a 10-15 minute walk to popular areas like the Ramen Museum and the Red Brick Warehouse. ๐จโจ ๐ Alternative: Mitsui Garden Hotel (close to Yokohama Station, convenient for travel) #Yokohama ๐โจ
