🐌 First Meal in Paris? Try This Snail Specialist! 🐌

🍽️ Snail Specialty Restaurant After more than a month of research, I finally got to enjoy this French snail specialty restaurant, L’ESCARGOT, on my first day in Paris! I found this restaurant online and was instantly smitten. It's filled with Baroque-style classical charm and boasts a rich history of over 100 years. So, I scheduled a lunch here on my first day in Paris to indulge in a meal with full French flair! 🤗 The menu comes in both French and English versions. Thanks to my prior homework, ordering didn't take much time. I ordered the snail platter: Escargot Mixed plate (with various flavors, 12 for 36€) I particularly enjoyed the one with goose liver sauce (Fois Gras). 🐸 Garlicky Fried Frog Legs (simply seasoned but incredibly tender and delicious) 🦆 Duck Confit (classic French dish, tasted like cured meat, the meat was firm and flavorful, and the sauce drizzled on top paired with toasted bread sticks was heavenly~) 🍲 Onion Soup (loved the crispy baked crust on top, the soup itself was light and refreshing) There was also a fish dish steamed with sea salt (I'm not sure about the exact name since it was recommended by the waiter, but it had a simple and pure flavor). 🛎️ The average cost per person is around 50-60€, and you can voluntarily leave a tip for the waiter. Our meal came to 156€, and I just rounded up to 160€, with the rest automatically going to a tip. 😃 (You can choose not to tip if the service is not up to par). 💡 It's best to make a reservation on their official website before going, to avoid waiting times. #FrenchCuisine #ParisExploration #ParisRestaurantRecommendation #ParisTravelGuide #BestSnailsInParis #HiddenGemRestaurantShare #AtmosphereAtThisRestaurantIsFull #FrenchFeast
