First Stop in DC: A Bar Inside a Bank Vault 🏦|Silver Lyan

Right after arriving in DC, I visited Silver Lyan — a renowned cocktail bar set inside a historic bank vault (famous in London, now in DC!). It absolutely lives up to the hype. 👍🏻 My favorite was the Armstrong Americano — a refreshing blend of fermented apple 🍎, champagne 🍾, and banana brandy 🍌. So smooth and delightful — highly recommended, especially if you prefer lighter, fruity cocktails. The Banned in Boston was another standout — a boozy chocolate‑flavored slushie 🍫🍧 that felt more like dessert than a drink! The cocktail in the sixth photo (sorry, forgot the name!) was also excellent — you can’t go wrong ordering by picture here. 😄 The space is moody and elegant, dressed in deep red tones — intimate and perfect for a date night. 📍 Address: 900 F St NW, Washington, DC 20004 If you’re in DC for cherry blossoms (or any reason!), don’t miss this inventive, atmospheric bar — it rivals some of the best in NYC. Loved this unique sip? Don’t forget to like, follow, and save for more extraordinary bar guides across the U.S.! Let me take you to drinks worth traveling for. 😘🥂 #DCbars #WashingtonDC #SilverLyan #CocktailBar #BankVaultBar #TravelDrinks #CherryBlossomDC #DateNightDC #Mixology #DCEats
