๐ First Time in Japan and Totally Enjoyed Hakone
๐ Before going, I had a bit of a low opinion of Hakone because it's a place that tour groups often visit, and I thought it wouldn't be that great with too many people. However, my first visit to Hakone was enchanting, even with the bad weather (it even hailed that day), it remained a beautiful place with clear mountains and waters. Moreover, apart from Owakudani being a bit crowded, other places were less populated, allowing for a leisurely stroll. So, I brought my mom here for another visit later. ๐ Hakone's transportation is not as complicated as it seems. Just buy a Hakone FreePass, and you can ride almost all transportation as much as you want, unlimited times. Plus, it offers discounts at almost all art museums and many parks/attractions, which is incredibly practical! ๐ Hakone's attractions are also very rich, with natural scenery to enjoy and various parks/art museums for quiet appreciation. If you're coming to Hakone for two days, here's the route I recommend: Arrive at Hakone-Yumoto โ Hakone Open-Air Museum โ Hakone Gora Park โ Return to the hotel for an onsen soak ๐ธ Hakone Open-Air Museum: The most famous museum in Hakone, with Picasso paintings and symphonic sculptures that are stunningly beautiful. Admission is discounted by 100 yen with the Hakone FreePass. ๐ธ Hakone Gora Park: Free entry with the Hakone FreePass, the flowers in the greenhouse are beautiful, and the view of the mountains from the park is also picturesque. #JapanFreeTravel #JapanTravelGuide #Hakone #HakoneTravel #TokyoTravel
