It’s Halloween, so I treated myself to Brazilian churrasco! Jacksonville has two great spots—tried Texas de Brazil in Miami before, but Terra Gaucha has a higher rating (4.8 stars with 6,000+ reviews). And wow, it lived up to the hype! 🥩 Terra Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse🏠 4483 Southside Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32216💵 Full experience lunch: $44.95 per person, ~$60 with tip and tax 🍖 The full experience lets you try tons of meats: ribs, bacon-wrapped filet, ribeye, picanha, shrimp, salmon, lamb, chicken leg, sausage… plus grilled pineapple, cheese, and even golden steamed buns (suddenly felt like I was at a Chinese BBQ buffet, but way better!). The meat is super juicy, high-quality, and perfectly cooked—way better than domestic versions! 🥗 The cold bar has all kinds of cheeses, salads, fruits, and rice. My faves? Roasted bell peppers and corn bread with guava cream—so delicious 🌽! Service was amazing: They kept cycling through meats nonstop. I barely dared to keep the “yes” side of my card up—they were basically encouraging me to eat more! Always asked if I wanted anything specific, and if they didn’t have it out, they’d grab it from the kitchen just for me. Though the portions are huge for us Chinese folks 😅. Anyway, totally worth it!
