Flying to Tokyo Tower (2)π
2οΈβ£ Kamakura Day Trip π On the second day, I chose Kamakura over Miura Coast's cherry blossoms πΈ and the view of Mount Fuji from Enoshima. Although I didn't see the mountain ποΈ, the Enoshima coast under the clear sky was more than charming. It's very convenient to take the JR from Shinagawa and then transfer to the Enoden Line for a little over an hour. π If you pass through Yokohama or go one more stop to Zushi, that's also a great option. The popular Bills was surprisingly not crowded that day, and I easily got a seat with a great view for a sea-view brunch. ππ³ 3οΈβ£ What I Ate Over Two Days π― Tsukiji Uni Tiger Sea Urchin Rice The price was quite touristy (a bit expensive), but it was truly delicious. The sea urchin was fresh and sweet, while the tuna π was just okay β a bit chewy and not as fatty as I would have liked. π£ Sushi Tomomi Recommended by a local Tokyo friend and not mentioned on any Chinese websites, this place had a lunch price that wasn't too high (11,000 yen for nine pieces), but the taste and the tableware were quite ordinary. The only small surprise was the white fish paired with yuzu juice π, which was a nice touch. π± Kushiyaki Unagi Fuji Eel Rice I walked in at 8 p.m. without needing to wait for a table. I ordered the eel three-ways plus eel liver. The seasoning was a bit too salty for my taste when eaten plain, but it was just right after soaking it in the broth. π #Tokyo πβ¨
