Food Journey in Phoenix, AZ β Day 1 π½οΈπ₯
After canceling our Sedona hiking plans due to illness, our foodie squad of four turned Phoenix into our personal tasting playground! Hereβs our honest review: π½ Taiwan Bistro 168 β 8.6/10 π Oyster Omelette: Not your typical oyster pancake β egg lovers will enjoy this. Braised Pork Rice: Comes with a soft-boiled egg, but the meat was a bit fatty. Good for sharing. Clams with Basil: Spicy and fresh β highly recommended! Bitter Melon Pineapple Chicken Soup: Unique and comforting. Perfect for cooling down in the AZ heat ππ². Stinky Tofu with Pork Intestine: Spicy and pungent (really stinky!), but the tofu was a bit tough. Chive Flower with Pork Liver: Surprisingly not gamey β a must-try! Mung Bean Smoothie: Refreshing complimentary dessert! π₯₯ Imperial Coconut Jelly β 7.5/10 π Peach Resin & Durian Coconut Jelly + Mochi Egg Waffle: Delivered via takeout β not super chilled but still delicious! πΆοΈ Little Chengdu β 7.5/10 π A bit on the salty side, but flavorful! Open late β perfect for a post-flight meal π¬π. Note: BBQ starts after 9:30 PM (Sichuan dishes before that). We missed the Spicy Chicken Gizzards β next time! π JL Patisserie β 8/10 π Iced Latte / Oat Latte: AZ coffee tends to be acidic, but theirs was smooth β. Salmon Avocado Croissant: Flaky and fresh β so good! English Croissant: Comes with ham, bacon, and a runny eggβ¦ but skip the overly salty hash brown patty π . Coffee Γclair: Rich and creamy β loved it! #PhoenixFoodie #AZEats #TaiwaneseFood #ChineseFood #DessertLovers #FoodReview #ArizonaTravel #EatLikeALocal
