Foods I Still Crave After Graduating & Returning Home | Mississauga Ed
1⃣️ Seoul House (Permanently Closed) 📍 265 Enfield Pl, Mississauga A Korean spot I visited countless times with my friend Wang. Their black bean noodles were the best I’ve ever had—no competition! Also loved their cheese dakgalbi, grilled short ribs, and tteokbokki 😭 Tragically closed and replaced by another restaurant. 2⃣️ Katsuya 📍 1224 Dundas St W, Mississauga 🌟 Red Carbonara Katsu: Spicy cream sauce over crispy pork cutlet—richer and more flavorful than their classic cheese katsu! 🌟 Carbonara Udon: Thick udon drenched in creamy sauce (heaven, though may be heavy for some). 🌟 Cheese Crabmeat Croquette: Crispy outside, melt-in-your-mouth crab and potato filling. 3⃣️ Chaozhou Lao 📍 1177 Central Pkwy W (Inside Golden Square) A budget-friendly Chaozhou spot—always packed with Cantonese speakers (a sign of authenticity!). 🌟 Braised Meat Platter: Tender, five-spice-infused meats (a must-order). 🌟 Fish Dumpling & Meatball Soup: Bouncy dumplings with aromatic fried garlic in the broth. 🌟 Taro & Purple Rice Dessert: The star 👑—creamy with taro chunks and mochi-like bits. Had to eat this before leaving Canada! 4⃣️ Man Jiang Hong 📍 1177 Central Pkwy W (Also in Golden Square—a foodie hub!) My go-to for takeout—huge portions and consistent quality. 🌟 Tomato & Egg Stir-Fry: The best in Mississauga‼️ Thick, glossy sauce over rice = addictive. 🌟 Sichuan Chili Chicken: Cold dish but huge—chicken drenched in sesame-chili oil (perfect with rice). 🌟 Also love their dry pot frog, Shanghai noodles, and Coke wings (but ran out of space to gush!). #MississaugaEats #FoodNostalgia #HiddenGems #ChineseFood #GlobalCravings
